One of the most important aspects to a healthy community is access to safe and suitable food. Which is why our Environmental Health Officers (EHOs) are responsible for inspecting food business and investigating complaints to ensure appropriate food safety standards are being maintained.
All businesses that serve food are required to comply with the Food Act 2001, Food Regulations 2002 and the Food Safety Standards. to ensure the food they serve is safe.
